Crisp would not be the well-oiled machine it is without its backbone — the team behind the scenes who makes everything happen. Each and every Crisper plays a major role in delivering incredible results to our clients, and we couldn’t do it without them.
All of this is why we decided to award one extra special Crisper with something that matches their level of quality: a Tesla Model 3.
The Crisp Crisp Effect
Back in 2020, we launched a campaign called The Crisp Effect. It was a challenge for a select group of law firm owners who committed to achieving transformational growth — even in a year like 2020.
Whether this growth comes in the form of their firm’s numbers increasing, attaining personal accomplishments, or having a major impact on their community, their genuine and authentic approach to changing for the better is what united them in the Crisp Effect Challenge.
These law firm owners spent a year and a half documenting their transformations. Then, we compiled each story into a narrative video that captured each Crisp Effect Challenger’s transformative experience. The public voted on the finalists, and at the Game Changers Summit 3, the top 10 were premiered and voted on live — and the winner took home a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
But we didn’t stop there.
Crisp Founder and CEO Michael Mogill got to thinking, “What about the Crisp team? They walk through the door every day ready to take on any challenge that’s thrown at them. They are deeply committed to our clients’ success. They do what it takes to change their lives. In fact, their experience working at Crisp has transformed them in many ways too. Why don’t we launch a challenge for them — and reward them in a big way?
Enter: the Crisp Crisp Effect Challenge. The good people at Crisp have gone through unimaginable changes and have overcome so many obstacles that they, too, deserve the chance at being recognized for their transformations.
What would the Crisper of the Year take home with him or her if they won? Something big enough to house all of their commitment, creativity, and resilience: a Tesla Model 3.
Thus, it began. Every team member at Crisp had the opportunity to tell their story and share some of their most challenging life experiences. Was the initial thought of that daunting? Yes. Did we know the payoff was going to be staggering? Absolutely.
As the homemade footage kept rolling in, our production team assembled it all together to make breathtaking videos of our adored team members. Hours upon hours were spent working on them on top of the work they were already producing for our clients, yet still they persisted.
Every Crisp team member’s video brought tears to our eyes, but three stood out in particular — and finally, the winner was chosen.
Meet Kennedy Pope, the Crisper of the Year and the proud new owner of an insanely cool, total beast mode Tesla Model 3.
Kennedy joined the Crisp production team in January of 2019 and has changed it for the better. Prior to receiving his offer letter, however, Kennedy faced extreme health challenges and nearly lost his life.
While what Kennedy has experienced in his young life might be enough to shut the rest of down forever, he could not let himself do that.
“I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself.”
Kennedy worked up the courage to move to Atlanta, GA with only $200 to his name. Not too long after came an offer letter to work at Crisp. That was the beginning of a new chapter in his book.
“The best decision I ever made was letting go of the fear of rejection.”
Kennedy embodies the Crisper of the Year spirit through and through. How do we know? The radical transformation he underwent to improve his overall quality of life, change his outlook, and become the man he was meant to be.
He began to view his hardships as opportunities to do better and be better, and now he has made a fine name for himself as the Pre-Production Manager at Crisp. Kennedy hopes he can help others succeed and teach them that they aren’t defined by their past pain.
At Crisp, Kennedy believes that he’s found a group of like-minded people who aren’t afraid to take on challenges. His favorite part about working for Crisp is the fact that it makes other tasks in life less boring, and ultimately he feels like he can take on anything.
“If you allow yourself to be all-in the second you walk through the Crisp doors in the morning, you get forced into being a f****** warrior.”
It’s true, folks.
